Corporate Career:

In 1998, Suchi Mukherjee joined Lehman Brothers Incorporation as Senior Associate, Corporate Finance after finishing her education. She worked there for two years before moving to Virgin Media in 2003 as Director of Change & Business Development. She was in charge of overseeing strategic projects across the organization. She joined eBay Inc in 2005 as the director of Business Seller Programs and Customer Service. She was in charge of eBay UK's business development and customer service teams. She joined Skype as a Director and Member of the Executive Management Team in 2006. She was in charge of Skype's global product strategy and user experience design. She was appointed Managing Director and General Manager of GumTree, a British-based online classified advertisement and community website, in 2009. She was in charge of GumTree's expansion and profitability in the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Entrepreneurial Career:

LimeRoad was founded in 2012 by Suchi Mukherjee, Ankush Mehra, and Prashant Malik. Prashant sold his shares in the company, but Ankush remains the Co-Founder and Director of A.M Marketplaces Pvt. Ltd., LimeRoad's parent company. LimeRoad's Founder and CEO is Suchi. She had the idea for LimeRoad while on maternity leave after having her second child. She wished to establish a platform that would connect women and local vendors while also providing a diverse range of products such as clothing, accessories, home decor, beauty products, and so on. She also wanted to encourage women to use LimeRoad's scrapbook feature to create their own looks and styles. LimeRoad was one of the first social shopping sites for women in India and has since grown to become one of the most popular online fashion destinations for women.
