Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is an American businessman. He is also a media magnate, internet entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is commonly known as the co-founder of the Meta platform (previous name Facebook). He is the co-founder of the solar sail spacecraft development project. He is also a member of Breakthrough Starshot and serves as one of its board members. He is the most famous and influential person in the world.
Mark Zuckerberg was born on 14 may 1984 in the white plane, New York, and was raised in Dobbs ferry. He has three sisters. He was the son of psychiatrist Karen and dentist Edward Zuckerberg. He was born into a well-educated family. He is the boy who began developing the internet in computers at an early age.

When he was 12 years old he created a messaging program called zucknet. This program allowed the computers between their house and his father's dental office to connect and communicate with each other by transferring messages. The family can also use this program to communicate within the house. Through this, he also learns how to code making games with his friends just for fun.
After seeing his interest and success in the computer his parents got him a computer teacher and he also learn his education of computer in high school. When Zuckerberg was 15 years old he created an early version of the music software Pandora which he called synapse while he was still in high school. This app was based on his own music taste. Many companies wanted to buy that software including Microsoft. Later he goes to Harvard University. Before his graduating many companies offer him jobs. But he rejects them.

Due to his programming skill, he became more popular at Harvard University. Later he became famous at Harvard University as a software guy. In the first year, he made he built a software program that was a Course match.
Later he made a website name face mash. For face mash, he hacks the pictures of university girls' faces and on the website, he asks to tell who is more beautiful. Both these software programs became popular but the university shut down the latter program after it was deemed to be inappropriate. Due to the face mash website, the personal website of Harvard University was crashed.

When he was in university there are three students who give him the idea to make a website with the name Harvard connection. They tell him to make the website on which Harvard students can talk to each other. Later mark Zuckerberg think about Facebook and start working on his own idea. Later mark Zuckerberg stop talking to these students and then he quietly worked on his own idea. Later mark Zuckerberg drop out of university without completing his studies. Later he only focuses on Facebook.
Those three students who gave him the idea were not happy and they think that mark steal their idea and worked on it. Later mark Zuckerberg with his four friends move to California and they start living in a small house and then mark Zuckerberg continues to work on Facebook. On February 4, 2004, Mark Zuckerberg launched Facebook from his Harvard dormitory room.
An earlier inspiration for Facebook come from Phillips Exeter Academy, the prep school from which Zuckerberg graduated in 2002. At the end of 2004 Facebook reaches 1 million users. Like others, the path of success for mark Zuckerberg is also not easy because that three students still thought that mark steals their idea.
In 2005 one investment company give the mark Zuckerberg 12.7 million dollars for Facebook. Then mark Zuckerberg use this money and expand Facebook. Later in December 2005, he became successful in bringing 6 million people to Facebook. When Facebook got more users other companies are interested in it and also contact mark because they want to promote their companies with ads but Mark Zuckerberg didn’t agree with this because first, he wants Facebook to become widespread.

Then mark did his full focus on Facebook but in 2006 two of those students who give the idea of Harvard connection bring this matter to court and claim that this idea was suggested by them and now they said that they want money. Mark Zuckerberg tries to explain that both the ideas are different because the Harvard connection was only for students of university so that they can talk to each other and the idea of Facebook was for all people not only for students.
Later Mark Zuckerberg gave them almost 65 million dollars and then this case is ended there. This case lasted till 2011 when that three students said Mark Zuckerberg give them less amount of money and Facebook totally worth is more than this but these types of things can’t stop Facebook from growing. In a 2011 interview with PBS after the death of Steve Jobs, Zuckerberg said that Jobs had advised him on how to create a management team at Facebook that was “focused on building as high quality and good things as you are”.
In 2009 one writer Ben Mezrich wrote a book named “Accidental Billionaire” about Mark Zuckerberg that he accidentally became a billionaire and due to this bookmark Zuckerberg's reputation became badly affected. After reading this book the industry also decided to make a movie named “social network” on the life of Mark Zuckerberg. The film social network became famous and affected Mark Zuckerberg's reputation more. Later mark Zuckerberg said that in this movie they make him a villain and there are there was a lot of things that never happen in his life but there shows that in the movie.

Besides all of these difficulties, Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg became more successful. Since 2008, Time magazine has named Zuckerberg among the 100 most influential people in the world as a part of its Person of the Year award, which he was recognized in 2010. In December 2016, Zuckerberg was ranked 10th on Forbes list of The World's Most Powerful People.
