Introduction:

Google is an American international technology company. Google is considered of the five biggest information technology companies in the industry and others are Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Microsoft. Google is specializing in providing internet-related services and products. We all use Google almost every day and it’s also plays an important role in life in our life.

Founders of Google:

Google was founded on 4 September 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. When they both found Google they were students and studying for Ph.D. at Stanford University in California. On October 24, 2005, Sundar Pichai was appointed as the CEO of Google. Larry Page became the CEO of alphabets later on December 3, 2019, Sundar Pichai also became the CEO of alphabets.

How was Google founded?

Larry Page was born on 26 March 1973. Larry Page was born to Carl Page and Gloria in Michigan. His mom and dad both were computer science professors. During his childhood, his home was usually a mess with computers and technology magazines and also with popular science magazines. At an early age, Larry page was interested in computers and he also love to read and learn new things. When he was in elementary school and 6 years old he was first attracted to a computer. When he was young his ideal person was inventor Nikola Tesla. Larry page attended Okemos Montessori School located in Okemos, Michigan when he was 2 years old to 7 years olds. When Larry was young his older brother tell him how to take things apart and later Larry take everything apart to see how things work. When he was 12 years old he knew that in the future he was going to start a company. In 1991 he was graduated from East Lansing high school. Larry Page holds a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering degree from the University of Michigan. He also studies computer science at Stanford University.
When he was studying at Stanford he met Sergey Brin. Larry page had started a research project which nicked named was “BackRub”. Sergey brin also joins this project. Then they decided to make a search engine that would show a result according to the popularity of the pages. When they both came up with this idea they didn’t have funds. They both also talk to their professors to change the computers. Most professors invest in this idea. Larry Page and Sergey brin also made a page rank algorithm. They know that they have to use it to make a search engine.
They both also created backlinks that connect one website to another website. They decided on the name “Google” for their search engine. In the process of making the search engine Larry page dorm room was filled with equipment’s later, they decided to convert a Sergey Brin dorm room into an office and programming center. In Sergey's room, they tested a new design for search engines on laptops. Stanford computing infrastructure faces some problems when there was rapid growth in their project. Larry Page and Sergey Brin both use a simple HTML (HyperText Markup Language) programming skill to develop a simple search page for users.
To handle the searchers of multiple users they both began using any computer parts to assemble the computing power. In August 1996 they both launch the initial version of Google. This version of Google was available on the Website of Stanford University and was available for internet users. Later they decided to transform their project into a company and in 1998 Google was officially incorporated as the company. Later they both dorm room to Google office which was actually in the garage and the first office of the most successful company was in the garage.

By June 2000 Google arranged almost one billion URLs (uniform resource locators). At this time the Google was the most comprehensive search engine. In 2001 Eric Schmidt was appointed as the CEO of Google. Larry Page and Sergey Brin became the presidents of products and technology. In 2002, Page was named a World Economic Forum Global Leader for Tomorrow, and Sergey brin was considered in the top 100 invertors under 35 according to MIT’s Technology Review publication.
Under Schmidt's leadership on 20 august 2004 Google held its Initial Public Offering (IPO). He also made the sales force management system. The CEO of the company was changed but Larry page was still a boss in the eyes of their employees as he gave the final approval to all new hires. In 2004, Larry Page and Sergey Brin received the Marconi Foundation’s prize and besides this, they were also elected as the Fellows of the Marconi Foundation at Columbia University. Larry Page was the one who provided the signature for IPO and later this make both page and Brin billionaire.
In June 2005 Google was one of the biggest media companies with a value of 52 billion dollars. The company launched Google News in 2002 and launched Gmail in 2004, Google Maps in 2005. In 2007 Google also made a partnership with Chinese mobiles and Salesforce.com. The company Google also signed on the partnership that is to make Google apps for education on which education was freely available for thousands of students especially for a student who was in Kenya and Rwanda.
Google chrome was launched in 2008. Larry Page received the Communication Award from King Felipe in 2008. In the same year Google also launched the new version of Google Earth and it was first launched on 11 June 2001. Larry Page has received an honorary doctorate from the University of Michigan during a graduation commencement ceremony in 2009. Google Health and a personal health information centralization service were launched in May 2008. This service was discontinued in 2011 because it could not achieve the desired impact.
Larry Page was ranked 24th position on the Forbes list of billionaires and he was also considered as the 11th richest person in the U.S. Larry Page became the CEO of Google in January 2011. Eric Emerson Schmidt which was the former CEO continues to serve the company as its Executive Chairman. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index of October 2021, Larry page is considered the sixth wealthiest person in the world with a net worth of almost 120.7 billion dollars. As of October 2021, Sergey Brin is also considered the 7th-richest person in the world, with a net worth of $115.2 billion.
