The company went on to become the world's largest fast-food chicken chain, Kentucky Fried Chicken. Why name change from Kentucky fried chicken to KFC? A painter gives the idea to Sander to name his restaurant KFC. Every day KFC serves almost 8 million people. There are many rumors on the internet that why they change their name one of them is they changed it due to a trademark issue The real reason why the name of Kentucky changed to KFC was the company wanted a short and simple name for their brand because the short names get more popularity among the people. Another reason for changing this name is they want to remove fried chicken from the name because it indicates that it may be unhealthy and only chicken dishes were on the menu.

After the second world war was over, he decided to make the franchises of his restaurants but once he said that whenever he want to share his idea with someone people laugh at him and make fun of him but these things can’t stop him from being successful in the future.
Colonel sanders go from door to door to sell his franchise. His recipe was rejected up to 1000 times. After being rejected more than 100 times time bring him a reward and he found one person who was interested in his idea. Later most franchises are sold and at this time colonel sander receives profit. Later he became successful in spreading KFC franchises all over the country.
After a lot of failures and misfortunes, he became successful in making KFC the world's best restaurant.
In 1964 when colonel sanders were 73 years old and he decided to sell KFC. Later he sold KFC (Kentucky fried chicken) for 2 million dollars to John Y. Brown Jr and Jack C. Massey. Later this case was brought to court because at the time of selling the KFC there was a deal between them that Colonel sanders cannot start another restaurant with this recipe.
