Who is Elon musk?

Elon Musk is a business magnate. Founder, CEO, and chief engineer of Space X. CEO and product architect of Tesla. Founder of the boring company and the co-founder of Neuralink, OpenAL, and Zip2. Elon musk is also considered the richest person in the world.

Early life:

Elon musk is born in 1971 in South Africa and raised in Pretoria capital city of South Africa. Elon musk was like a bookworm and really interested in computers. He prefers books than friends. He spent more time reading books.

Elon lived with both of his parents in South Africa until the age of 8. Elon was most lived under the watch of a housekeeper. Elon musk said that housekeeper was there just to see that I didn’t break anything.
In 1980 his parents got divorced and he decided to move with his father. Musk has a younger brother Kimbal and also a younger sister Tosca. Then after he realizes that move with his father is not a good idea.

Childhood trauma:

In his one interview, he talks about his childhood and father's that his father is emotionally abusive and tough on his children. He once said:
“He was such a terrible human being. My dad will have carefully thought out plan of evil. He will plan evil”.
Elon's father is verbally abusive to him. His father didn’t believe that Elon can do anything and be a success in his life.

Elon musk is also bullied at school. Musk is bullied throughout his childhood. Once he was hospitalized after he was thrown grown a flight of stairs by a group of boys.
At the age of 10, he developed an interest in computers with commodore VIC-20. He learned computer programming and at the age of 12, he sell the code of video game. Elon created called blaster to pc and office technology magazine. This video game is almost 500 dollars.
He attended Waterkloof house preparatory school and Bryanston high school before graduating from Pretoria boys high school.

“They got my best friend to lure me out of hiding so they could beat me up and that hurt for some reason they decided that I was it and they were going to go after me non-stop that's what made growing up difficult for a number of years there was no respite you get chased around by gangs at school who tried to beat the hell out of me and then I'd come home and it would be just as awful there as well”.
After graduating from Pretoria high school he applied for a Canadian passport through his Canadian mother. While waiting for documentation musk he attended the university. Then Elon left his home and migrated to Canada.
In 1989 he first move to his mother's relatives in Canada. Then musk attended Canadian citizenship and move to Montreal and instead of staying in a hotel. He then travels to live with his second cousin in Saskatchewan. He stayed there for one year and while stayed he do low-paid jobs. At the age of 19 in 1990, he entered the queen university in Kingston Ontario. Later he transferred to the University of Pennsylvania. Then he got a scholarship. He completes his Bachelor of Science degree in physics degree in physics and he also achieves a degree in economics from the Wharton school.
In 1995 musk move to Stanford University in California to do a Ph.D. in material science. Elon musk try to get a job at Netscape but he didn’t receive any response to his inquiries. He dropped Stanford after two days.

Beginning of his career:

Zip 2

After dropping out of Stanford Elon and his brother borrowed 28000 dollars from his father. With this money, they launch a software company called Zip2. For this purpose, they rented a small office in Palo Alto. Initial idea of the company's was to provide business directories and city guides for newspapers, with a focus on the online market.
They then began to pitch their product to newspapers, offering them a way to provide online city guides to their readers.
Within a few years, Zip2 had contracts with major newspapers such as The New York Times and The Chicago Tribune.As his company grew, he focused on expanding the platform's capabilities and developing new features, such as maps and directions.
Musk also began to explore other markets, such as the auto industry, and worked on developing software that could be integrated into cars to provide real-time traffic updates and other information.
Eventually, In 1999 Zip2 was acquired by Compaq for almost $300 million.

X.com:

In march 1999 Elon Musk founded X.com with the goal of creating a digital payment system that would enable people to make online transactions more easily and securely. To build this types of digital platform, he assembled a team of software developers and engineers, many of whom had experience in the financial services industry.
The initial version of this platform offered a range of financial services, including online bill payment, money transfers, and insurance.

Key innovation of X.com:

One of the key innovations that X.com introduced was give customers the ability to make online pruchases by linking a bank account or credit card to a digital wallet. This made it much easier for people to make transactions online, as they no longer had to manually enter their payment information for each transaction.
In March 2000, X.com acquired Confinity, the company behind the PayPal service, and subsequently changed its name to PayPal.

SpaceX:

In March 2002 Musk founded SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.) The company was established with the goal of reducing space transportation costs and enabling the colonization of Mars. SpaceX designs, manufactures, and launches rockets and spacecraft for various purposes, including:

• Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 rockets
• Dragon spacecraft
• Starship spacecraft
• Satellite constellation

SpaceX's products and services are geared towards enabling low-cost, reliable access to space and expanding humanity's reach beyond Earth.

Tesla:

In 2004 musk joined Tesla as an investor and member of the board of directors, after investing $6.5 million in the company's Series A funding round.
In 2007 Musk became the chairman of Tesla's board and later took on the roles of CEO and In 2008 product architect, after the ousting of the company's co-founder Martin Eberhard.
In 2008, when Tesla was facing financial difficulties and struggling to bring its first car, the Roadster, to market. At this point Elon Musk risked his personal fortune and borrowed tens of millions of dollars to keep the company afloat.
Aside from Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk has also founded or co-founded several other companies, including PayPal, Neuralink, The Boring Company, and OpenAI, each of which has its own unique accomplishments and contributions to their respective industries.
In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Musk stated, "I think the thing that's been the most significant for me is to never give up. To be tenacious. To keep going even when things seem impossible."
